• To what might you attribute the biases and myths about crack cocaine? The biases and myths that I held regarding crack cocaine was that crack cocaine is different and is quite more dangerous as well as effective than powdered cocaine. I did not know the chemical structure of both of these substances. However, after learning, it is the same but the process or form of making crack cocaine was different. Another myth that I held was that African American populations are more likely to take this substance as they are found to be more indulged in taking drug and aggressive activities. While this is not the case. These are more likely to be used by individuals in low socio-economic classes despite their ethnic backgrounds.
